Nu-Man is the third album by the Italian, progressive, alternative, metal band Faro.
Four years later,Faro give a successor to Luminance, their 2020 album.
On this album, Faro take a further step forward by creating a full length of 14 songs and pushing themselves on new sounds but without ever taking their eyes off what has always included them, that romantic, intensive, emotional ambient and cinematic base.
Nu-Man deals with the birth of the new human being trough the concepts of trans humanism,
where technology become more important than himself.

Faro was born in Pescara, city of southern Italy in autumn of 2007 from the singer and composer
Rocco De Simone and guitarist Fabrizio Basco.

Rocco De Simone has acquired his experience in several musical projects starting in 1995 with the guitarist Angelo Troiano in the progressive metal band WarmUp. In 2006, he released his first studio album with the progressive-gothic rock band named Vortico, in this project Rocco sings in Italian.

Their first self-produced album is “Gemini”, which was released in September 2011. The album was widely appreciated by the critics and fans by comparing the band to names like Rush and Queensryche
After a period of line-up changes and many live shows, in 2015, Faro returned to write new songs for what later became the new album Luminance.

The new line-up is formed by Rocco De Simone, and the great composer and guitarist Angelo Troiano. Angelo has collaborated in the past with Rocco De Simone in the WarmUp project band in the 90s.
They take the band to a new song writing experience, with influences of Ambient, Post Rock sound and new vanguard progressive sound, moving the attention to a more international sound.

In April 2019, Faro signed a contract with the Italian Label ANDROMEDA RELIX
On September 1 2020, Faro release the new album Luminance
“Luminance” (2020), have garnered positive reviews and recognition, establishing our presence on the international stage.
In March 2023 Faro finished recording the new full length Nu-Man
In September 6 2024 Faro released the new album Nu-Man
